Another Milestone Achieved in Türkiye – Ilıpınar, Kantarkaya & Kargapazarı License Areas
We’re proud to announce the successful completion of a Magnetotelluric (MT) survey with over 400 stations across our geothermal license blocks in Türkiye!
The goal: To investigate subsurface electrical properties and assess the geothermal energy potential of these fields.
Key Results:
▪ A continuous low-resistivity zone (<10 Ohm-m) lies beneath a thick resistive cap across all three areas—suggesting a strong geothermal reservoir at depths of 1,000 to 2,500 meters.
▪ Resistivity contrasts and lateral discontinuities point to fault zones that could act as fluid conduits—critical for geothermal circulation.
▪ Geological mapping confirms these anomalies correlate with fractured volcanic and sedimentary rocks—prime drilling targets, especially where faults intersect.
These insights are driving our next steps toward exploratory drilling and resource development.
