The Alaska Department of Natural Resources Division of Oil and Gas has issued the final written decision for the Augustine Island Non-Competitive Geothermal Prospecting Permit. In line with the decision, the permit will be issued to GeoAlaska LLC, in which Ignis Energy is a partner, to explore geothermal resources on state-owned, unencumbered lands.
