The two day conference was well attended. On the first day we discussed with a panel how we are bringing subsurface answers to surface technology solutions. We reflected on closed loop and enhanced geothermal and what it takes to make a decisions while de-risking the unknown before financial decisions are made. Thanks for hosting us Elizabeth Cambre. I enjoyed the discussions with Emilie Gentry and Kristie McLin.

The second day Ignis contributed to a panel discussion on the realities of scaling geothermal. We covered what it actually takes to move projects from concept to capital — from structuring deals that infrastructure investors can underwrite, to how subsurface and performance risk are (and aren’t yet) being transferred through insurance and financing. A key takeaway: the challenge isn’t just technology — it’s alignment. Alignment between resource risk and contract structures, between insurers and next-gen geothermal models, and between permitting frameworks and execution timelines across markets. Encouraging to see the conversation shifting toward practical solutions that can unlock real, bankable growth in the sector. Thanks for the moderator Derek Nixon, and panelists Travis Annatoyn, Justin Treat and Matt Bormann for an interesting discussion.
