Ignis Energy, a leading renewable energy company, has announced the appointment of Sam Abraham to its board of directors. With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas and geothermal industry, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company.
Sam has worked for both operators and major oilfield service companies in South East Asia, New Zealand, East Africa, and North America. He has managed remote start-up projects and worked on regulations for the geothermal drilling industry in Africa. Sam also consults for the World Bank as a subject matter expert in geothermal project management and drilling.
Sam holds a M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Technology from Pune University, India, and an M.S. in Engineering Management from National University, California. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
